Funeral services were held Saturday January 31 at 2:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Billie was born March 26, 1921 in Chilton County, Alabama to the late Oliver and Beulah Williams Sims. She was a longtime member of Mt. Nebo Methodist Church in Chilton County and hair stylist and beauty shop owner for over 50 years. She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved people and animals and never turned away anyone in need. She was a mother to five children but was a “Mom” to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Gordon “Gordie” Moulton, a daughter, Jan Moulton, grandson Eric Shannon Moulton and a son in law, Bill Teer.
She is survived by two daughters; Cheryl Hancock and her husband Bud, of Prattville, Kathy Teer of Sullivan, Missouri; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Bonnie Moulton of Jemison, Rick and Debbie Moulton of Prattville; six grandchildren, Jenny Williams, Ame Sexton, Cristy Stockman, Ricki Ann Moulton, Katie Abbott, Missy Roney; eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
