Linda Nelson, 68, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2020. She was born on January 5, 1952 in Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Dickey Nelson, her parents Murphy and Nell Stringer, 4 brothers: Dan, Steve, Al, & Ricky Stringer, and 1 sister Sue Foxx. She is survived by her 3 sons: Kyle (Lori) Nelson, Jason Nelson, and Brent (Erica) Nelson and 7 grandchildren: Dalton & Kaylen Nelson, Cody, Janie & Zack Nelson, Peyton Plyer & Harper Nelson. Linda enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at her son’s home: 1565 Rolling Hills Drive, Prattville, AL 36067 between 11:00-1:00. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be made in Linda’s memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital.
