She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Myers; mother, Edna Myers; son, David Lee McCord; sisters, Faye Edgerton, Dorthy Schrimsher and Helen Lowen; and brothers, James Myers and Loren Myers.
She is survived by her husband, Zack David McCord; children, James Michael McCord, Janet Diane Ewings and Mark Wayne McCord; as well as grandchildren, Kristina Marie Castillo, Chandler Jordan Quinn, Landon Brooks Quinn, Devon Lucas Castillo and Christopher Lee Castillo.
Joanne loved her travels that she had made all around the United States and all of the poeple she had met through them. She also loved and cherished her family and friends.
A visitation for Joanne will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Prattville Chapel with a graveside service following at Oak Hill Cemetery in Prattville, Alabama 36067.
