Ida Marie Cherry, 91, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away June 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.L. Cherry; brothers, Ben Hartsfield and C.W. Hartsfield; sisters, Elizabeth O’Brian and Mary Ann Streitman. Mrs. Cherry is survived by her daughters, Susan Johnson, Deborah Owen and Pattie Bryant and son Phillip Cherry. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sheri Guin and Brett Johnson and 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cherry was a dental hygienist for 49 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist church of Prattville where she taught Sunday school and was active in the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed her yardwork and was known for the roses she grew.
Services for Mrs. Cherry will be Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Prattville. A visitation and reception will follow after the service.
