Frances Smith

Frances is preceded in death by her husband Dolphus "Buddy" Smith, father John P. Mcdonald, mother Eva Dee McDonald, brothers John Wyane McDonald, Rick McDonald, Doug McDonald. Frances is survived by her daughter Claudia Boles; son Tim Bowden (Kim); grandchildren Crystal Chatman, Jessica Cole (Matthew), Racheal Goodwin (Brandon), Bethany Mather (William), Brittany Bowden, Colton Bowden; great grandchildren Gracie, Cadee, Jackson, and River Chatman, Ken and Judson Cole, Journey and Brantly Goodwin. Frances is also survived by her sisters Ada Otter (John), Dianne Smith (Wayne), Betty Huff (Bobby), Rose Pack(Chris), Shirley McDonald and several extended family members. She also held a very close relationship with Bobo Boles, Theresa Khon, Mary Wingad, Claude and Cindy Bowden.

Frances was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who spent her life helping others. She attended church services at County Line Church of Christ until her health began to decline. She continued worship by watching services every Sunday morning.

Funeral Services are scheduled on Friday Oct. 27, 2023 at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the visitation at 10:00 am and services at 11:00. Burial will follow at County Line Church of Christ. The service will be conducted by her brother in laws Wayne Smith and Chris Pack with congregational singing Lead by Ryan Wyatt.
