Eugene "Gene" and Virginia Hall

Eugene "Gene" Hall born on December 14, 1934, to Mr. Aubrey Fredrick Hall and Nannie Mixon Hall and passed away on August 17, 2022 and his loving wife, Virginia Moseley Hall, born on December 17, 1936 to John Milton Moseley and Arlene Norsworthy Moseley and passed away on August 25, 2022.

Mr. Hall preceded in death by two sisters/two brothers and survived by three brothers/two sisters. Ms. Hall is preceded in the death by two brothers/one sister and survived by one brother/one sister.

Married in Mississippi on June 9th, 1954, they shared 68 years together; moving to Prattville in August 1967 where they raised a family and stayed in the same home for 55 years.

They are survived by three children; Terry Eugene Hall, Jennifer Hall Martin and John Thomas Hall (Carole Hall); five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Gene worked as a Civil Engineer for the State of Alabama Department of Transportation for 38 years and also worked as a real estate agent. He also proudly served two terms on the Prattville city council.

Virginia was a homemaker for many years. She worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Prattville and was known and loved by many of her customers.

They both were members of the Jaycee/Jaycette organization, and together, were involved with the Autauga County Fair for 46 years along with being active in other civic organizations in the community.

The Family would like to thank Carli Bone,RN; Kindred Hospice. A special thank you and deep gratitude to Ms. Jackie Cooper, Ms. Helen Tyus and Ms. Mary Motley for the patience and loving care shown mom and dad during their last months.

A visitation for Gene and Virginia will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Oakhill Cemetery, Wetumpka Street, Prattville, Alabama 36067.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eugene "Gene" and Virginia's memory may be made to Prattville/Autauga Humane Shelter, 1009 Reuben Rd, Prattville, Alabama 36067; and Autauga Interfaith Care Center, 163 W 3rd St, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
