Donald "Don" Eugene Roan

Donald “Don” Eugene Roan, 81, of Holtville, Alabama passed away in the comfort of his lake view home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday, October 30, 2017. Mr. Roan was born in Reedsville, Pennsylvania on October 11, 1936 to the late Robert Roan, Sr. and Ann McClellen Roan. He was a retired SMSGT with over 20 years of honorable service to the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Donnie Crowe, and a great grandson, Luke Sellers. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Roan of Prattville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susie and Charles Duck of Holtville, Sharon and David Arant of Prattville; a sister, Judy Hannon of Delaware; a brother, Robert Roan, Jr. of Lewistown, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Angi McBrayer of Holtville, Jeremy Arant and his wife Meagan of Millbrook, Alabama, Crystal Arant of Prattville; two great grandchildren, Ella-Kate Arant, Carter Arant and a host of other relatives and many close friends.
