FRANKLIN, Betty Jean, age 76, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edgar and Rosie Armena Hawkins and a daughter, Robin Dale Franklin. Survivors include her husband, James T. Franklin; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Robyn Franklin, Rick and Brenda Franklin; two daughters and son-in-law, Cindy Franklin, Suzanne and Jeff Rucks; eight grandchildren, Alina, Austin, Leslie, Elizabeth, Sonya, Cassy, Shawn and Patrick; eight great-granchildren, Lexi, Michael, Evelyn, Bristol, Paisley, Lila, Macon and August; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sonja Hawkins and many other extended family members. The family will receive friends at the funeral Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM from The Church of Christ with minister Brent Missildine officiating. Burial will follow in Durden Cemetery. The family extends their thanks to her caregivers, Cassie and Crystal from Southern Care Hospice.
