Andy Ronald Willis

Willis, Andy Ronald a resident of Millbrook, Al passed away Saturday August 1st 2020. Andy was born March 11, 1946 to Maynard Willis and Mattie Odell Willis in Elmore County. Those growing up with him remember him fondly as "Ronny" while those he met later knew him as "Andy". He was a strong believer in keeping people safe and a strong believer in God. Andy never met a stranger. He was in Law Enforcement in City and County of Montgomery where he was elected as Constable of Montgomery County serving over 15 years , Baptist Police at Baptist Hospital South and Security at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Andy also worked in Engineering at Baptist Health. Andy was a member of Robinson Springs United Methodist Church, but attended Elmore United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 13 years: Lee Rawls Willis of Millbrook, Al, daughter: Sharon Willis Llanas (Tony) of Ingleside, Tx, son: Steven Daniel Willis of Corpis Christi, Tx, Brothers: Charles (Sarah) Willis of Birmingham, Al, Jimmy (Linda) Willis of San Antonio, Tx, Danny (Jerry Ann) of Wetumpka, Al, sisters: Molly (Dale) Luster of Wetumpka, Al, Nanthia (Jerry) McGinn of Elmore, Al. Granddaughters: Acacial Llana Beaver (Randy) and Anna Llanas, Grandson: Andrew Willis, Great Grandchildren: Michael Beaver and Azlynn Beaver, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Ridout's Prattville Chapel on Saturday August 8th at 11:00 am, visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00 on Saturday. Mr. Willis will be interred in Zeigler Cemetery in Coosada, Al at a later date. Donations may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home or to UMCOR.
