
Dr Alvin Timothy (Tim) Warnock, passed away July 228, 2024. He leaves behind his wife Glory Dean Warnock, his son Jerry A. Warnock, his grandson Adam K. Warnock, and his granddaughter Megan S. Warnock.
Dr. Warnock worked with distinction as a US Air Force historian for over 30 years. He served as a professor at the Air War College, then as the Supervisory Historian, Deputy Chief and temporarily as the Chief for the Air Force Historical Research Agency. He had published many articles and books during that tenure. He served with the Lions Club as the President helping many in our community and internationally.
He served the First Baptist Church of Prattville congregation for many years as a deacon and
Sunday Schoolteacher.
What gave him the most joy and pride in life was his work with Gideons. He served as the Treasurer.
He loved participating in the bible distributions and speaking for the Gideons at the churches. He
served God by spreading His Word to those in need.
A celebration of life for Alvin will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
