David S. Peck

Dave was born in Bath, New York on September 1st, 1943, the son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Conner) Peck. Dave married Sharon Underhill on August 29th, 1964. He was a lifelong farmer and carpenter, building and remodeling homes. He built his own home and the homes for every one of his children. He loved gardening, his dogs, the NY Yankees, and hunting, especially with Davy, Jamie and Luke. Dave was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was a family man, and most important in his life was his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved family gatherings, especially the gatherings he had to cook outdoors for.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 53 wonderful years, Sharon; his children, Beth Peck, Julie (Greg) House, Dana (Matt) Dickson, and David (Erin) Peck; his grandchildren, Brittany (Grant) Williams, Sarah O’Brochta, Marshall Dickson, Pete, Dickson, Tyler Peck, Charlotte Peck, and Greyson Peck; sister, Edith (Dave) Guerdan; cousin, James (Chris) Lynch; and nieces and nephews, John Guerdan, Laura Underhill, David (Tina) Guerdan, Jamie (Liz) Guerdan and Kathy (Brian) Joseph.

Friends and family may call from 4pm to 6pm on Friday, January 5th and from 11 am to 12:30pm on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Bottoni Wood Funeral Home, Prattsburgh, NY 14873. A memorial service celebrating Dave’s life will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 12:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Prattsburgh Fire Dept. or Prattsburgh Ambulance, 15 Allis St., Prattsburgh, NY 14873; or to the Prattsburgh Historical Society, 19 N.
