Carol Ann Labrake

Mrs. Carol Ann LaBrake, age 79, of Potsdam, NY passed away at the Legacy K Home in Hermon, NY on March 22, 2025. Arrangements for cremation are with the Garner Funeral Service in Potsdam, NY. There will be a burial in the spring for both her and her husband Louis LaBrake at a date and time yet to be determined. Contributions in Carol’s memory can be made to the Legacy K Home @ 581 West Road, Hermon, NY 13652.

Carol is survived by her sons James (Tammy) LaBrake and Steven (Kelly) LaBrake; brother James LaValley and her grandchildren Jacob, Jillian, Joshua and Samantha LaBrake. She is predeceased by her husband Louis LaBrake and a sister Beth Lamb.

Mrs. Carol Ann LaBrake was born on January 13, 1946 in Potsdam, NY to the late Herbert and Tina LaDuke LaValley. She was a 1964 graduate of Potsdam Central High School. Carol was married to Louis LaBrake on December 11, 1964 in Claremont, New Hampshire. Carol received her nursing degree at SUNY Canton and went on to work several years as an RN at Massena Memorial Hospital until her retirement.

Carol and her husband lived in Potsdam and spent their winters in Brooksville, Florida for several years. They loved spending time at their hunting camp with their family. Carol enjoyed practicing shooting her pistol. Condolences for the LaBrake family can be shared @www.garnerfh.com.
