Mrs. Audrey K Bicknell

Mrs. Audrey K. Bicknell, age 87 of Potsdam, NY passed away on May 18, 2015 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital. She had been a resident of United Helpers Maplewood since May 2014. Graveside services for Audrey will be held privately on Friday, May 22nd at Bayside Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Garner Funeral Service. On line condolences can be sent @ www.garnerfh.com.

Audrey is survived by her sons, Robert D. (Connie) Bicknell, John (Alena) Bicknell and Michael Bicknell; grandchildren Erin Jamesson , Rob Bicknell, Megan and Brianna Bicknell, Michael Ryan, Kris and Bryan Bicknell; as well as five great grand children; brother Al Kingsley and sisters Norma Burns and Cheryl Hazen.

Mrs. Audrey K. Bicknell was born June 13, 1927 the daughter of the late Dean Kingsley and Bernice Cyrus. She graduated from Norwood Norfolk Central School in 1944 and the Ogdensburg Business School in 1945.

Audrey worked for the telephone company for several years until she became secretary for the family business, Bicknell Building Supply, until her retirement in 1987. After retirement she and her husband spent their winters in Naples, Florida and summers at Higley Flow.

She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Robert R Bicknell in 2006, a brother Charles Everett Kingsley and sister Jean Farnsworth.

Audrey was a member of the Potsdam Presbyterian Church and of the Potsdam Town and Country Club. She was an avid cook and enjoyed playing cards and golf.
