He was born in Larchwood, Iowa on April 30, 1926. Bill graduated from Eastern Oregon University and received Master’s Degree from University of Oregon. He was married to Betty Lunde on December 29, 1956.
Bill had long and successful career in Education for Oregon Public Schools in various capacities. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and had a passion for World travel, bowling, landscaping and ‘collecting’.
He is survived by his children, Jane, Ken and Russ and their spouses Bryan, Marcy and Kellie. His grandchildren include Brock, Brent, Karli, Travis, Jared, Celina, Tiffany, Lindsey, and Brandon. And his great grandchildren include Jonah, Samantha, and Trenton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM, September 2nd, at Karos-Milwaukie United Church of Christ, 4790 SE Logus Rd. Milwaukie, Oregon.
