Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home in Portland, Oregon for Virginia Lee Nelson, who passed away with family at her side on
August 14, 2016 at the age of 89.
Virginia was born on November 28, 1926 to Charles and Myrtle (Irwin) Inglis, and lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She worked for Fred Meyer for over forty years, retiring from her position as a clerk in 2006. She loved to read, crochet, tend her flower garden, and cook for family gatherings.
She will be remembered by her daughter Linda Roberson, granddaughters Shelli Huston and LeAnne Gunderson, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Following funeral services, Mrs. Nelson will be interred at Willamette National Cemetery.
