Val graduated from Marshall High School. She married Jeff Giesseman on August 6, 2005.
Val worked at the Fred Meyer corporate office. She loved traveling, being outdoors, camping, boating, dancing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Giesseman; daughter, Lisa LaRoque; son, Jason LaRoque; grandchildren: Emily LaRoque, Cheyenne LaRoque, and Kohl LaRoque; Siblings: Joan Ormsby, Delores Field Croke, Corrine Field, Jack Field, Randy Field, and Terry Field.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2023. Details will be announced as we get closer.
