Tim Downing of Portland and Oregon City died Nov. 26, 2016 in Oregon City. He was survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathleen Downing; his daughters Christie Bailey, Michelle Brooks, Gina Marston and Pamela Black; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Tim was a longshoreman and retired from the City of Portland, Bureau of Maintenance after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Lake Merwin and doting over his Volvos. A service will be held at Lincoln Memorial on Dec. 4, 2016 at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow. Donations may be made in Tim’s name to the Knight Cancer Institute.
