Steven Michael Kelsey

Steven Michael Kelsey, age 47, of Ridgefield, Washington passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. Steven was born on March 29, 1976 in Portland, Oregon, to his parents, Steve & Colleen Kelsey. He grew up in the Portland area where he attended Gladstone High School (becoming a letterman in soccer and golf), Portland Community College to obtain his EMT certificate, and went on to graduate from Concordia University with a Bachelor's Degree as well as an Associates in Micro Electronics.

Steven married Charity Joy Fantroy in 2005. They were married for 17 years and had two wonderful children: Landon and Laelle. The kids became the greatest source of pride in Steven's life, supporting them through their endeavors- primarily sports. He was a strict but loving father and had exceptionally high standards for his children. Steven was a huge Duck fan. He enjoyed Golf, camping, firepits with friends, family, and his dog, Jackson.

Steven was a humble man who would not expect many people to grieve his loss, but how wrong he was. His friends and family will remember him as a kind, tender family man who was always ready with a hug. Those hugs will be dearly missed. He has touched so many more lives than he ever knew.

Steven is survived by his two beloved children, Landon Xavier Kelsey and Laelle Mecole Kelsey; his parents, Steve & Colleen Kelsey; his former spouse, Charity Joy Kelsey; sister & Brother-in-law, Michelle Kelsey & Jerry Rundorff; niece, Kelsey Brielle Rundorff; and nephew, Mavryk John Rundorff.
