Shirley Arlene Colburn (Kirk) was born on August 4, 1955 in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and was a member of the Klamath Falls Tribes. She married the love of her life, Ernest Colburn Sr., and spent her working days as a caregiver for the elderly. Shirley passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 65.
