I'm so sad to hear this. Sandy is a dear soul who always has a kind word and love and cheerful service to share with her beautiful smile. She holds a sweet place in my heart (from Gateway and Crossroads). I can't wait to hug her in heaven. My Mom passed in December, so I understand your pain. Sending prayers and hugs your way. Jesus will continue to be your comforter. How wonderful that we can cling to God and trust His promises of unending love and grace. May His peace and love overwhelm you now. 💕

  Sandy was my favorite cousin from the time I was a little girl.  She was so beautiful, and kind and gave the greatest hugs.  She made you feel special, important and that you mattered to her.
  As an adult we talked about the bigger picture, and  now and then she'd ask my advice about personal things.  I was always surprised because I thought she was perfect and to ask me for advice was such a compliment.  
  Oh, one other thing.  Sandy really loved our dog Issy, a 20 pound poodle who to this day is Sandy in puppy form.  Loving, kind, fun, caring and gives super kisses.  Sandy would spend time holding Issy and loving on her.  They were great friends. 
   My heart has a special place in it for Sandy and my only comfort is that she's now one of Gods very special angels. 
   Peace and love to you Sandy.  

We had a friendship that spanned many years.  We will miss Sandi's smiling face and glowing personality.  She was a true friend.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Norman Hill; daughters Lisa Miller (Don) and Julie Reilly; stepdaughter Julie Risley (Kurt) and stepson Troy Hill (Lillie); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous cousins; and many life-long friends. Sandy’s son, Steven Gard, pre-deceased her on April 30, 2004.
