Our love and condolences go out to the Hardison family. I'm so sorry for your loss , I can't say enough about Aunt San nor can I stop thinking of all the time we all spent together growing up all through highschool. Awe we had good times together, So much fun as kids , so many camping trips and picnicking , always something new going on , We spent some time in a clothing or bowling and our first ventures ever anywhere. Love you Auntie for always being there for all of us but my brother and I , we'll always be tight with you guy's . All our history ,It Never leaves me ,not ever . Love you guys always n always . A Past & Present Memory to share:
Road trip July 1991 to the Knopp family reunion/picnic.The 4 of us Grandma Mary,You,Sissy, & Me traveling cross country. Destination:Indiana where the humidity never sleeps!! It truly was an Amazing and Unforgettable journey.
Fast forward to June 17th 2022 Sissy and I popped in to see you, upon entering discovered you soundly sleeping.We chose not to wake you, as you needed the Rest. Eventually,we said our Goodbye (Unknowingly)this would be the final visit.
So, in closing Embrace & Take Comfort in the Peacefulness that now surrounds your body. ITS WELL DESERVED!!

San always had a kind and tender heart which often resulted in tears (and she hated that just like grandma) but that caring was such a part of her that we loved. I was the perfect example of her big heart when her and Ken took me into their home when I was a wayward teen. I will always be grateful and love them that much more.
Everyone know she loved her “boys” (Ken too) and she adored her grandkids . She talked about them constantly and with absolute love and joy. She will be deeply missed and always loved for the very special person she was.

My dear loving and beautiful aunt Sandy, l missed you so much you were always in my thoughts and prayers. I know you enjoyed your beautiful yard work so beautiful as you are. You will always be in my heart . I know you are surrounded by beautiful angels and mom and dad love you always cher bear 💖

Sandra Sue Hardison was our beloved sister and will be missed greatly! She was an Indiana farm girl who came to the big city with our family during her teenage, high school years. She always said, she didn’t think any of us ever fully adjusted to that drastic change’ and I agreed with her completely! She married Ken Hardison and they had two sons, David and Rod, she also had four grandchildren, who were the loves of her life and she was so proud of each of them…
     Kim and I got to spend some time with her a couple days before her Birthday and we talked and laughed and told stories back and forth. We got to hug her and tell her we “LOVED” her and it was the perfect memory to keep in our hearts and minds as the finale piece of her life to add to the collection to remember her by.
     Farwell my beautiful, sweet sister until we meet again, I know in my heart that your reunion in heaven with the whole family had to be awesome and to know that there was no more pain gives me a big smile and enough comfort to last the rest of my days…

I have so many great memories from all my visits to your house as a kid. Playing and riding bikes, birthday parties, and making cookies with you Aunt Sandy, which holds a very special place on my heart. As my kids and Bill (and maybe a few others) can tell you that they have probably heard me tell this story a 100 times. Aunt Sandy taught how to make her "no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies," they were so good! My favorite, which I made for my kids growing up, as well as mom and dad. Mom loved them so much, I gave her the recipe and she continued where I left off, spreading the love. In honor of you aunt Sandy, where it all began and my Mom who continued on the tradition,  
and who made the best german chocolate cake ever! I will have to find my recipe and make some cookies. The cake I will have to leave to Ticia, who has perfected it. 
I cherish and miss those times we all spent together. The family holiday dinners, picnics and so forth. Those were the best times and the happiest times of my life and I know I'm not alone. If we could only turn back time. What a gift that would be. 

Uncle kenny...I can't imagine what you are going through and how hard it must be to loose your partner in life...the person who's always been by your side together through life's journey. I'm so sorry for your pain and loss. Dave, Rod and family...your mom was a great mom, mom-in-law and grandma. Our families share a common loss and we understand what it's like to loose your parent(s), parent(s)-in-law and grandparent(s) and the pain, emptiness and a rollercoaster of emotions that come with it. Grieving is an individual journey you take, with commonalities you share along the way, so hold each other tight and give grace to one another. Fill that emptiness all that you can with precious memories and finding little ways to honor her can bring comfort,tears and even a smile. Aunt Sandy was a beautiful, caring person who let you know just how much she loved you. She may not be with us in body, but she is in spirit. An angel among us. Don't be surprised when she gives you a little reminder that she's still there and watching over each of you. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. Love Tam, Bill and family

Thank you for all the laughs we shared together, and for the good advice you sent my way! 
I don't know where this came from, but whenever we seen each other the very first thing that you would say to me was
"Hey you little SH_ _!!
For example the time at Bi Mart when you yelled that very same phrase to me, and you were at the other end of the store. You were the best!!
I will miss you always my sweet Sandy.

My Dearest San Going back in time, "to the good ole days" when the Hardisons' and Billings' went for a trip to who-knows-where, with Terry at the wheel, never allowing any 'potty' stops until reached final destination. Then, there were the Glisan St. backyard sun-bathing competitions to see whose tan was the best! You always put me to shame with those "Betty Grable" legs!! All those weddings, births, welcoming David, Rod, Hanna, Halle', Jake, Grace, and all. The Family picnics, holiday gatherings, and the dreadful funerals. Mostly I'll miss those long chats and phone conversations. I'm forever grateful for your love and encouragement. Just recently, those "I love you more moments". My prayer to God regarding your recovery this time, was if he felt you had too much on your shoulders, as you endured so much pain, was take her to Her Heavenly Home. No more suffering, just enjoy reuniting with our departed loved ones. I miss you already, but so thankful we will indeed see you again. Those memories of your beautiful outfits, with all accessories matching from head-to-toe will remain always. Working in your flower garden, word searches, TV animal shows, carrot cake and white chocolate -- only to name a few. Thanks Ken for being such a loyal and devoted husband for nearly 60 years. Too, thanks Jennifer, Hanna, and Halle' for making it possible via phone for family members  to say our farewell to her. Cindy and Rayna, thanks for staying at her bedside--such a comfort to know she was not alone. I'll sign off by saying, I'm so proud to call you my big sister, (even though there is only about 385 days between us). Til we meet again, over yonder. Love you more--Lil' Sis



Aunt Sandy, I hope you know how much I Love you and miss you!!! I'm so sorry I didn't get to see and talk with you and give you a great big hug before you left us. I can't tell you how many times I've thought about you and wanted to call...then you called me when we lost Mom, then we lost Dad a few days later. That talk meant so much and brought me comfort, as I hope it did you. I can only talk to you through my heart and in my prayers now, where you will always be. I know Mom and Dad were right there waiting at the pearly gates of heaven to give you a great big hug and guide you to all your/ our loved ones. Until we meet again. Always in my heart, your name sake.

I remember all the times I’d go to your house with my mom & grandma. I’d look through all the toys in your attic and look through your scratched off lottery tickets.

Sandy I will miss you, and I will always remember you and the laughter you brought to me.  You were the first person to come and comfort me when my Mom was sick and passed. You didn't even know me that well back then, but there you were at my door step wanting to help.  All the picnics at blue lake with everyone. You made me feel welcome into the family, along with the rest of the gang. You are and always will be special, and in my heàrt
