Ruth E. Stickley was born September 14, 1922 in Portland, Oregon to Judith Elizabeth Johnson Hill and Charles Edmund Hill. She passed away September 9, 2011 at Her Home in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Franklin High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis and Clark College. Ruth worked for, and retired from U.S. Bank. She worshipped at First Baptist Church In Portland, OR. Ruth was pre deceased by her parents; her sister Rose Hill; and her husband Earl C. Stickley who she married September 14, 1946 in Portland. She is survived by her children Colletta K. Ryan, Gerry E. Stickley and his wife Noel Anne, Darrell D. Stickley and his wife Pamela; her brother Charles E. Hill (wife Nancy): 12 Grandchildren, Numerous Great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be placed in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
