Robert Lewis Logsdon, 83, of Milwaukie, Oregon, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was born on March 14, 1930 in Independence, Missouri. Robert joined the United States Navy during WWII, and was honorably discharged after his faithful service to his country. He married the love of his life, Pauline, in Portland, Oregon in 1951.
Robert was a man of many passions, including: photography, golfing, and travelling. He was an avid camper, who enjoyed boating and hunting in the great outdoors. He was a Lifetime Member of the Douglas Ridge Rifle Range and the National Rifle Association. He was also a proud member of the American Legion.
Robert was a loving, caring, friendly, and fun man, who will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Pauline; daughters Patty Dolezal and Carolyn Mattson; grandchildren Samantha Ottenbacher and Cody Mattson; his sister Carol Zinn; brother Phillip Richart; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00pm at Milwaukie Covenant Church,12201 SE Linwood Ave Milwaukie, OR 97222.
