Our deepest sympathy to the family and former staff of Dr. Farnham.  He was a special person in the life of our family for all the years of care.  We always enjoyed hearing of his travels and golf adventures.

My Mom took us to Dr. Farnham growing up.  He was my dentist from 1967 until I got married and moved away in 1992.  He is by far the best dentist I have had the pleasure to see.  I send my condolences to the family.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.  Dr. Farnham was a wonderful man and excellent dentist.  God Bless, Cheryl (Benadom) Benefield

With Prayers and deepest regrets from the Kay family

My thoughts and prayers are with Lorna and family today...

I have childhood memories of Bob and Janet although to me they were always Dr. and Mrs. Farnham.  They were friends of my parents, Dr. William (Bill) and Donna Cory.  I remember that Dr. Farnham and my father spent more that a few Wednesday afternoons on the golf course and how kind they were to both my brother and I.

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Lorna, I am certain she is as warm and wonderful as my memories of her husband.  My prayers and thoughts are with Farnham family.

We’ve known Bob Farnham since we moved next door in 1973.  Over the years we became friends of the family.  We always considered him a professional man and friend.  We had a good relationship when it came to doing things for each other.  Leroy remembers working on something,  and when he asked Bob for help,  Bob would study the problem and find a way to make it work.  He liked to keep his tools sharp.  He had more patience honing tools then I could ever have.    Neither of us liked to work on plumbing, but together we’d get things done.

Bob we’re going to miss playing cards with you and Lorna, plus sharing movies together.  Together we had a fence built with a gate so either family could get to each others’ house without having to go street side and then up the stairs.  So many “hellos” over that gate and through it!   We miss you already.

Lloyd had the honor of working with Bob for many years as his lab tech.  I was honored to meet both Bob and his lovely wife Lorna and shared many great get togethers.  We will miss him greatly but never forget his greatness in dentistry and sincerity as a friend.  In our hearts forever!

I had the privilege of being Dr. Farnham's patient from 1969 until his retirement, and have many wonderful memories. His skilled dentistry lives on in the form of my full mouth reconstruction, which other dentists continue to compliment.  My sympathy to Lorna, Llana and all his family and friends.  Bob will live on forever in our hearts.

I will remember Bob not only as a friend but as one of Oregon's finest dentists. He strived for excellence.  He treated the most challenging cases with remarkable success. We will miss Bob but not forget him.

Many trips to the dental office with only pleasant memories because of the friendliness and pleasantness of Dr. Farnham.  He was appreciated not only as a skilled dentist but also as a friend.  May you, his family and closest friends, be comforted as you go forward without his presence.

So many smiles you brought to your friends with your story telling and your patients who reveered your wonderful dentistry. You will be missed but never forgotten.
