Robert Laurence “Bob” Deyoe, was born in Monterey, California on January 22, 1953. Bob passed away from cancer at his Independence, Oregon home with his family, Karen and Larry Deyoe by his side, October 15, 2024.

Bob loved television and video games. He also loved his electric train. He especially loved his nephew, great niece and his dogs, Miley, Jasper, Jack and especially Jill, who was always by his side.

He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia E Deyoe and father Larry L Deyoe Sr. Uncle Chuck Deyoe, Chuck Deyoe Jr, and Aunts Bonnie and Harold Deyoe from Oregon. Along with his grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Bob was drafted into the US Navy as a “Seaman Recruit” in 1971. He was very proud to be a member of Polk County VFW Post 3203 where he was known to his friends, as “Silent Bob.”

Bob was deeply loved by his family including his uncle Thomas, from Gresham, Oregon, Aunt Marlene from Portland, Oregon Stepmother Valerie from Molalla, Oregon, Cousins, Liz, Evanna, Lori, Michelle, Michael, Jackie, Darlene, and Greg, and is blessed to have numerous second and third cousins, as well as wonderful in laws in the Sales Family from Oregon. Bill, from Tracy, California Barbara and John from El Dorado Hills, California, Dan, Arline and Amanda from San Jose, California and Vince, Lena, Evan, Alex, and Cole from El Segundo, California. He will be greatly missed.

Services to be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 200 Monmouth-Independence Hwy, Monmouth Oregon on 10/30/24 at 10:30am with interment at 3:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland, Oregon.

All are welcome to come and celebrate Bob’s life.

Please give any donations in Bob's name to the American Cancer Society.
