Reginald was the very essence of compassion, humor, selflessness, humility and reliability.
Reggie inherited the name Boo because when he was younger he got a kick out of scaring the family around the house yelling “Boo” and at the same time he was as sensitive and lovable like your Boo, the perfect name right…
Boo was Chicago raised, Cali loved, and laid to rest in the City of Roses…
Reginald aka Boo was a Scholar in school. He excelled in all subjects and received accolades from preschool to college prep! He loved basketball and of course MJ was one of his hero’s! Although he played with the number 23 his dunking style was like Shaq in 93 “nothing but net!” Reginald received a full college scholarship in Basketball and Football by the age of 17 years old at Salisbury University. This allowed him to travel internationally seeing countries like Amsterdam, New England and Canada sharing his gifts and talents around the world.
As he matured he found peace in his shortcomings, pride in his achievements, and joy being around the people he loved most!
In 2005 Reginald married Nadine Robinson and inherited step children: Terise, Carlton, Marques, William and Mya along with a host of beautiful grandchildren.
Reginald loved his family, and blending the two was so important to him. He enjoyed the simple things in life like: building computers with his mom, playing video games with his little brother Deon, Fishing with his step son William, long/ funny conversations with his Auntie Shanlonda, being silly telling Dave Chapelle jokes with his cousins, Netflix and chill with his wifey, but most of all Reginald loved his solitude.
Hardworking, focused and self motivated were some of the skill sets Reginald carried into his career with Penske Portland, a nationwide truck company in Portland Oregon. He worked as a truck driver serving his community and providing for his family!
Dave Chapelle once said...”the mark of greatness is when everything before you is obsolete, and everything after you bears your mark.
Boo has left his mark on all of us and his love within us will carry his legacy.
He will live on through his siblings, Brother Deon Ross and Romeo Ross; cousins, Nickema, Kareema, Kenyetta Quarren, Emari and Matthew; Aunt Shanlonda, Uncle Emmitt, Uncle Stanley; as well as extended family and friends, the Weatherspoon Family, Ross Family and Robinson Family.
