So sorry for your loss. I fondly remember camping across the river, exploring, painting the shields for the downstairs, the Arisaka and the mentoring.  What an amazing soul...I think about the adventures often...Prayers for all

My condolences to the entire family. I hadn’t seen Pete for 28 years, but I will always think of him like a second father.  He was a great guy, a good friend, and the best scoutmaster a kid could ever ask for. Greg, Eric, Cameron, thanks for sharing your dad on some great campouts and some truly memorable trips.  I have a lot of great memories from those times.  In 1990, it was a huge honor to have Pete swear me in as an Army officer, and I set the goal of attaining the same rank (lieutenant colonel) that he attained.  I reached that goal in 2015, and I thought of Pete on that day as I’m thinking of him now.  My dad’s memorial service was on the same day as Pete’s. On October 15th we said goodbye to two of the best dads and a couple of just plain good guys.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  God bless.
