Paul was born on December 18, 1933, in Portland, Oregon. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School.
He was a career man on the railroad, having worked for forty years starting with Spokane, Portland & Seattle, and after the merger, he retired with Burlington Northern.
Paul and Alice traveled the US from coast to coast in their RV, traveling as far as Nova Scotia. They were snowbirds in Surprise, AZ, for many years, which they loved.
He loved to hunt and fish, which he often did with his son Dave and other friends.
He was an avid fan of hot rods and muscle cars. He was also a member of the “Dukes” car club from its inception.
Paul was passionate about NASCAR racing, and whenever a race was on, you would find him in front of the tv from start to finish.
He is survived by his wife Alice of 67 years, two children Dave Abbott and Debi (Abbott) Seaman. Daughter-in-Law Lisa and Son-in-Law Albert, eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
