Pat received her master’s degree in education from Oregon State University. She was a Home Ec. teacher for two years, but the majority of her career was spent as a librarian and teacher in Lake Oswego. Pat belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma Society, where she made friendships that lasted throughout her life.
Pat had many hobbies throughout her life; several of which she taught to her nephew and nieces. She loved to garden and hike and enjoyed quilting and attending quilting shows, glasswork, and sewing. She could always be found crafting in one way or another, even making her own earrings. Plenty of her hobbies took place outside the home as well. Pat loved riding her Harley and she could often be found thrifting and going out to dinner with her friends and family. She was a skilled craftsman in many respects. Whether it was a pond, a pergola, or a retaining wall she wanted, she would make sure it was built; all while wearing flip flops!
Pat will be remembered as kind hearted and fun. She was always smiling and always a joy to be around.
Her husband of 20 years, Marc, passed away in 2015. She is survived by her brother, her nephew and nieces; step-daughter and grandchildren; all who loved her very much and will miss her dearly. She was also preceded in death by her beloved cat, Missy, and survived by her Siamese, Bella.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, September 30th. Any flowers can be sent directly to Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
