Norma Gene Watts passed away peacefully at her home in Aloha, OR on April 20, 2011 from cancer at the age of 82. She was born on September 14, 1928 in Lincoln, Nebraska and was the only child of Edgar and Ruby Petersen.
She married Murray Watts in 1947 and they eventually moved to the northwest. After living in Montana, Spokane, Seattle and Tacoma, Washington they settled in the Beaverton/Aloha, OR area.
Throughout her life she was involved in different ministries and church activities. At the time of her death she and Murray were attending Southwest Bible Church in Beaverton, OR.
Norma loved being with her family, the beach, camping, and friends. She loved the Lord and was a good and faithful servant and a prayer warrior. She touched many lives in so many ways.
She is survived by her husband Murray H. Watts of Aloha, OR; three children: Nancy Heaton and husband Dave of Aloha, OR, Mark Watts and wife Nancy of Beaverton, OR, Lori Schell and husband Jay of Hillsboro, OR; 7 grandchildren, 1 granddaughter-in-law and 1 grandson-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Ruby Petersen.
No service is scheduled as it was her wish to have a private family memorial.
