His parents were Adam Jangula and Nora (Mapes) Jangula.
His siblings names are Frank, Rose, Bernice, Benny, Elaine, Leo, and Betty.
He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Lee (Rourke) Jangula.
They celebrated 64 years of devoted marriage and had three children; Bert Jangula, Angie (Jangula) Kelly, and Carrie (Jangula) Schnider.
His grandchildren are Mark Lopez, Mike Kelly Jr., Chris Kelly, Caitlyn Schnider, and Jared Schnider.
He served in the Korean War; the Army from 1950-1952, and the Marines until 1954. He was a master craftsman in the field of hand typesetting, established a motor oil company, a printer and was a well renowned publisher of two equine publications, The Northwest Roadapple and Arabian Horse Country.
He was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness to practice in faith with his beloved wife, Beverly.
He will be remembered for his quick wit, friendly, gregarious nature, unwavering generosity, and most of all, a loving and devoted Husband, Dad and Grandpa and Pappie.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019, 7:00pm, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3516 SE 74th Ave, Portland, OR
Interment and Military Honors will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019, 1:00pm at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd, Portland, OR. Please enter the park through gate 2 and check in at the funeral home office in order to be part of the procession to the cemetery location.
