Michael E. Winkler

On Friday March 23rd, 2018 Michael Eddie Winkler, husband, father, and beloved grandfather, passed at the age of 71 years. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karen, his six children, Tracy, Jodi, Dianna, Joanne, Mitchell, Shelby and 15 grandchildren. Michael will be forever remembered for his love of fixing the broken, tinkering, fishing, camping, enjoyment of listening to talk radio and spending quality time with his grand kids. Michael loved retreating to Long Beach, Wa in the summer to work on projects and scour Waikiki beach for unique pieces of drift wood. Michael was a man that loved to work in his garden. If he wasn’t inventing something new you would find him outside attending to his beloved plants. His tomatoes were his prized possession and he absolutely loved to share the gazillions he grew each year with everyone. Michael's memorial service will be held at 11am Monday April 9th at Lincoln Memorial Park Indoor Mausoleum, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086.
