This memory of Michael was in back in 2015. Michael was one of my closest business partners. Together, we win a lot of business through his charming character and easy going personality. Everyone loved Michael. I'll always remember Michael happy and smiling. 

Sending my deepest condolences to the Bolton family and friends of Michael who were blessed to know him.  I knew Michael for 16 years and spent many great times with him. I have so many good memories with Michael. May he rest in heaven and until we meet again.

Upon hearing of Michael’s departure I could not fathom his family’s loss. Over 20 years knowing ‘Bolt’ and 15 of those working next to him, I was reminded of his positivity and energy. We could talk about so much more than composite reinforcements, while still making a product for one of his customers that time always passed enjoyably.   Will truly miss catching him in the field or at shows/conferences, and deepest sympathy for his family.

What stands out in your memories when you look back?  For me it’s time well spent with friends and family.  Hours slide into days which morph into years and stretch into decades.  Looking back over the last two decades for me, I remember so many quality hours spent with Michael.  Traveling, working, fishing, living.  The time spent with Michael will forever be knitted into the fabric of my life memories.  As I talk to friends, family, co workers, vendors, customers, there is a repeating theme … Michael was always so up beat and positive and helpful and supportive.  I am comforted to know that so many people have Michael intertwined in their memories too.  Memories that tie us all together in mourning the loss but allowing us to celebrate a life well spent.  I miss you brother. Your memory will always be a part of me.

The image of this crew skateboarding down our street is forever imprinted in my memory. That was one of the most special and fun 4ths of July, as we gathered with neighbors for an impromptu party in the middle of an otherwise joyless and lonely COVID isolation. Watching Michael fly down the street (I think he was wearing a cape at one point!) made me laugh and smile when I hadn’t in a long time. I’ll forever be appreciative and grateful  for that moment. 

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. There are no words. I am a friend of Lisa and Steve Shropshire and house sat for them the summer of 2011 when they lived on Grace. Mike was the back up Koi pond helper. He was so gracious about crawling under the house and helping with koi and the entire pond set up. And damn it we kept those koi alive that summer. I remember he always seemed to be smiling. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. In friendship, Lauren Austin. 

I had the pleasure of working with Michael for over 15 years as a long-time customer of Vectorply.  In that time, we became friends, won new business together, and shared many great experiences; memories I'll cherish forever.  I never saw Michael without a smile on his face and will remember him that way.

Michael, or MB as we affectionately referred to him, had the sweetest soul! Even though he only came to Alabama a couple times a year, he was always great to take time to learn about what was going on in our lives and to share about how his family was. It was a pleasure to know MB and have the opportunity to work alongside him for so many years. You will be greatly missed. Prayers and love for all MB's family and friends. 

I have no words, such a tough time for you all. We remember him fondly and wish we got to know him better.

I was sadden to hear of Mike’s passing. We spend many days and nights, in many Fiberglass shops. And then there were those fishing trips to Alaska.  So many great memories. Michael will be missed. We were blessed to know him. Thank you my friend!! Jim Camozzi

So sorry to hear this! Always loved catching up with him when we ran into each other. He loved his family fiercely! My deepest condolences.

I knew Michael mostly in high school, and catching up at reunions. Trying to tackle him in football practice was like trying to stop a freight train!  He seemed to always have a smile on his face and to really enjoy life.   His happiness will live on through his family and the people he touched.  Rest in peace, Michael.  

Michael was always there to help and answer any questions we had regarding our boat building operation, Michael was a great friend and will be greatly missed. 

Didn't know Michael that well. Only met him the once, great time, and chatted with him a few times when we had to help Cooper coming into New Zealand.  Always thought of him as a great Dad though from meeting him and what Cooper said about him. Hugs and thoughts are with the family.  

I grew up with Mike when we moved to Tualitin in January 1971. He was one of my first friends growing up.

Loryn was taking the photo here and I so wish she was in it.  Seeing Michael so happy over this last 4th of July at the beach was so amazing.  Memories to last a lifetime.  I love you and miss you so much sweetie.  I know you are in a better place 😘🥰😘🤗

One of the memorable moments with Michael 😊

I have worked with Michael for almost 10 years and he was always kind, and caring, and worked on behalf of our mutual clients.  I had so many good times with Michael through the years at various supplier events and was a sympathetic ear when I went through some very personal challenges the past couple of years.  He was so proud of his family and I saw pure joy in his face whenever he spoke of Caryl and his two children.   He will be sorely missed and I am praying for the comfort of his family.  

Hornings hideout June 2022. A memorable place he’s taken all of us since we were little. Always a guaranteed catch and never a sad face. 

I will miss your smile, your laugh, your passion for music, cooking, watching the Americas Cup races, Duck Football, fishing/crabbing, and just always being there across the street, a great friend to me and my whole family.  So many great times together.  Rest in peace my friend.

I am thankful for the many wonderful memories and heartbroken there will be no more. May you rest in peace big brother. I will love you always.

Rockaway beach trip, 4th of July 2023, was some of the best memories we all had. Full of love, laughter, happines, beautiful sights and crabbies! We miss and love you so much dad. And know you’re shining down upon all of us ❤️

Michael was not only a friend of ours but had been a co-worker and supplier.  We always looked forward to seeing him and always enjoyed being with him.  He will be dearly missed by many, no doubt about it.  Thinking of him, Caryl, kids, and family.
