Mei Giu Li

李伍美嬌女士于一九七七年從中國香港移民到美國波特蘭居住，直至本年二月二十五日，因年紀老邁身體功能退化，與世長辭，息勞她在世日子，享年八十九歲。

個人方面， 她是一位知書識禮，與中國傳統的女性一樣，勤勞節儉，嚴格要求自己，尊重老人，愛顧晚輩，與人相處總是追求和睦，樂意助人，深受家人及鄉親的敬重。

MEI GIU LI

1932-2022

Mei was born on October 3, 1932 in Lomagang, Haiyan, Taishan, Guangdong, China. In 1953, she married Mr. Li Bowang of Sansha Village, Haiyan. They have four sons and one daughter. Full house, happy family.

She emigrated from Hong Kong, China to live in Portland, the United States in 1977. Until February 25 this year, due to the deterioration of physical functions of old age, she passed away, and she died at the age of eighty-nine.

Personally, she is knowledgeable and polite. Like traditional Chinese women, she is diligent and thrifty, strict with herself, respects the elderly, cares for the younger generation, always seeks harmony in getting along with others, is willing to help others, and is deeply respected by her family and villagers.
