Affectionately known as "Joan"
Mary Joan Scott passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by her loving family in Portland, Oregon. Born on January 21, 1933, in New York to Fannie Mae Reid and Samuel Seed, Joan lived a full and vibrant life.
She made Portland her home for most of her life, where she lovingly raised her family alongside her devoted husband, Tommie J. Scott.
Our family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love, heartfelt messages, and prayers during this time. A special thank you to her home care provider, Andreea T., and her family for providing such a warm and caring environment for Joan in her final years.
