Mary grew up in California. In June 1958 she married Willie Chavez. Among her interests were gardening and being outside enjoying the warm sunshine. She will be remembered as a feisty and energetic wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Willie passed away in 2010.
Mary will be remembered by her children, Theresa Hughes and husband Richard of Damascus, OR, and David Chavez of Modesto, CA; Grandchildren Monica Garner and husband Jesse of Portland, Christopher Hughes of Damascus, OR, David X. Chavez and wife Melissa of Delhi, CA, Reigna Chavez of Modesto, CA, and Sydney Chavez of Stockton, CA; and great-grandchildren Elias, Elijah, Alyssa, and Noah.
Private family services will be held.
