Marilyn Louise Guinn, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019, in Ridgefield, WA, surrounded by her family. She was born November 18, 1934 in Taft, CA. Shortly after birth, Marilyn and her family made their way to Grants Pass, OR, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. As a young adult, Marilyn ventured to Dallas, TX where she met her husband Eugene. The married December 28, 1962, and moved to Portland, OR. Marilyn was an artist, musician, teacher, and businesswoman. Her passions were playing piano, floral design, painting, traveling, shopping, celebrating holidays, loving Jesus, and helping others. She was the matriarch of her family and was the happiest when she was surrounded by them. She touched the lives of everyone she knew. She is survived by her husband Eugene Guinn; children Rickey, Sandy, and Ethan; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Advantage Funeral in Portland, OR.
