Mariana Farah gently breathed her last breath in the early afternoon hours of Oct. 12, 2022 with family by her side holding her hands. She lived a simple life, focused on the love and happiness of her family.
Born in Esmeralda, Cuba, the youngest daughter of Bechara and Set El Ekhoue Farah. She immigrated to Portland with her family in December 1967.
Mariana joins her parents in eternity, along with her siblings Gassan, Delia, Maria, Catbe and Olga. She is survived by her sisters: Lilia Joseph, Graciela Farah and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Providence ElderPlace for their wonderful care of Mariana during the last years of her life.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 12:00 pm at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church-Maronite Rite, 1804 SE 16th Avenue in Portland, to be followed by a committal service at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00 pm. All are then welcome to join the family for a meal in the Lincoln Memorial reception room.
