Margaret was born on May 31, 1941 in Clay Center, Kansas to parents Vernon and Florence Carlstrom. She is the oldest sibling to Betty Petty of Payette Idaho, Connie (Fred) Bell of La Grande Oregon, and Kenneth (Susie) Carlstrom of Genesee Idaho. Margaret graduated from Ontario High School and Oregon State University. It was at Oregon State that she met Gary Noble, whom she would later marry and spend the next 59 years with. In addition to her devotion to family, Margaret enjoyed traveling with her husband, sewing, quilting and being active in her church. She also belonged to book, pinochle, and bunco groups, all of which brought her so much joy.
Margaret was an elementary school teacher at many local schools in the Portland/Milwaukie area.
Margaret was predeceased by her beloved grandson Drew Noble in 2017. In addition to her husband Gary, Margaret is survived by her sons Scott (Ginger), Todd (Kathy), and Mark (Chris); six grandchildren: Allyson (Alex), Melissa, Tyler, Tessa, Danielle (Jacob) and Samantha; and two great-grandchildren Adalynn and Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on April 30th at 12:00pm and King of Kings Lutheran Church, 5501 SE Thiessen Rd. Milwaukie, Oregon. A private internment immediately following at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland Oregon.
