Lyndsay Papenfus, a unique and unforgettable soul, departed from our midst on June 3rd, 2024, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with love and laughter. Born on March 12th, 1986, in Clackamas, Oregon, Lyndsay's journey was marked by resilience and a tender heart, having lost her biological father, Mark Papenfus, at a very early age.
Lyndsay was the cherished daughter of Jami Leon and Samuel Leon, whose love and influence shaped her character in profound ways. Growing up in Vancouver, Washington, under the loving guidance of her parents, Lyndsay's life was colored by moments of both struggle and triumph, and to her credit, her capacity for compassion was never diminished.
After completing her education to become a Pharmacy Technician, Lyndsay embarked on a journey of service, touching countless lives through her roles at Fred Meyer's, NARA, and the Red Cross. Her dedication to helping others was a testament to her selflessness and innate goodness.
In her quieter moments, Lyndsay found solace in her creative pursuits, indulging her love for crafts and artsy projects. But it was in her interactions with children and the elderly that her tender side truly shone, offering comfort and companionship with a gentle touch and a warm smile.
Lyndsay's memory will be cherished by all who knew her, from her beloved son, Jordyn Samoeun, to her parents, Samuel and Jami Leon, her sister Dominique Leon (Mark Almquist), her brother Dustin Witzel, and her fiancé William Henley. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she shared will continue to echo in our hearts for years to come.
In the midst of our sorrow, let us find solace in the sweetness of Lyndsay's spirit and the warmth of her love. Rest peacefully, dear Lyndsay, knowing you were deeply loved and will be forever missed.
