Lorraine Wong Gee

April 16, 1931 - Sept. 5, 2022

In loving memory of our mother, Lorraine Gee, born April 16, 1931 in Portland, Ore., who passed away Sept. 5, 2022. She was the devoted wife of Robert Gee (Chee Wah Hing), who died July 2, 2015 and loving mother of Carol Marr Vreeland, Glen Gee and Rhonda Gee. She was the beloved grandmother of Daniel Jenkins, Renee Jenkins and Cecelia Wenning. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Wong, George Wong, Warren Wong, Frances Hong and Norma Chinn.

Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Our mother was always there for us and never missed cooking Sunday lunch.

She was a woman of strong opinions and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

The viewing will be held from 3 - 6 p.m., Sept. 20, 2022, at Zeller's Chapel of Roses. She will be laid to rest at 12:30 p.m., Sept. 21, 2022, in Willamette National Cemetery.
