Was born to Cornelia & Mearle Currier on August 13th, 1933 in Portland Oregon. She was one of five kids. Lola was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Dennis H Smith and her daughter Sharlene, her sister Vivian, brother Lonnie and two grandsons; Adam and Daniel. Lola and Dennis took pride in raising six children; Jill, Sharlene, Jolynn, Chris, Dennis, and Darren. Lola loved her children, their spouses, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Lola loved to play card games, dice, music, painting, she had a green thumb and enjoyed sharing her plants. Lola wrote a book, "Dixie Mountain" where she told her stories of their life on Dixie Mountain.
