Lois was one of four daughters of James William Wilson (Bill) and Frances W. Matthews. She loved to travel and at an early age met her husband at a dance and was married to Leroy A. Reed in February 1940. They had one son, also named Leroy. They lived, loved, and traveled for fifty plus years before she was widowed in 1997.
Three granddaughters, Ilene E. Wight, Tracy K. Alsup, and Bridget L. Flynn, and seven great-grandchildren survive her, as well as her son and daughter-in-law.
She volunteered at the auxiliary connected to the Providence Child Care Center for thirty years. Her family will miss her warm smile.
A graveside service for Lois will be held Friday, December 31, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park Or, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225.
