Oregon resident Leta Estelle Hall Lee passed away on October 24, 2017 in Sunnyside, Oregon. A private family service will be held at Finely-Sunset Hills Mortuary November 18th 2017. Leta was born on January 7, 1931 in Portland, Oregon to William and Nola Hall. Leta was the second eldest of five children and is survived by her youngest sister Maggie O’Neill. At the age of 13, Leta met the love her life, Howell Eugene Lee. They were inseparable and eventually got married on December 31, 1949. After serving in the Coast Guard, Howell and Leta eventually settled in Lake Oswego, Oregon where they gave birth to and raised their three children. Leta was creative and artistic and found her passion in interior design. She owned and operated Leta Lee Interiors while joining her husband and son in founding Tri Lee Homes. In her retirement, Leta joined her daughter Tamala Jane Lefever at Interior Motives Accents and Designs, Inc. creating beautiful displays and serving customers. She was treasured by all who met her. Leta is survived by her daughter and son-in- law Tammy and George Lefever and son and daughter- in-law Bill and Kimberley Lee, her grandchildren Jamie E Ruzicka, William J Lefever, Alex L. Lane, Emma L. Seitz, Jessica L. Stephens, Christine L. Barkow and William J. Lee and her 5 great grandchildren. Leta is predeceased by her husband Howell and her son Timothy H. Lee. It is interesting to know that Howell died on the same day as Leta (October 24th) but six years earlier. Leta has asked to be laid to rest with Howell and next to Timothy.
