Les enjoyed many outdoor activities that included hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycles. He also enjoyed photography and wood working.

Les exchanged wedding vows with N. Michelle Otnes in Milton Freewater, Or. and the couple had two children, Nicole and Sam.

Les founded Precision Locksmith and served on the board of the Pacific Locksmith Association. He also initiated legislation that locksmiths in Oregon must be licensed and bonded.

Les passed away Oct. 24, 2014 in his home with his loving family at his side. He will be remembered for many things such as his adventurous and protective nature, his organization skills and his strong and unyielding faith. His family especially remembers his wonderful cooking and barbeque. He was skilled in making lasagna, pancakes and smoked fish.

Les was a member of the Portland Four Square Church since 1987 and a member of Abundant Life Church for the last seven years.

Les is survived by his wife, Michelle; children, Nicole and Sam; father, Loren and many friends. His memory will be forever cherished.
