LeRoy was born on April 9, 1935 in Washburn North Dakota to parents Peter and Emma Schultz. LeRoy and his family moved to Springfield, Oregon when he was a child. He joined the US Army in 1958, he was very proud of his military service. After he was honorably discharged he went to work at Franz bakery, where he spent over 40 years with the company. On September 1, 1973 he married the love of his life Ruth Ann Curtis. He loved her very much and they shared a lot of adventures together. He had a special interest in wood working and would spend a lot of time making items in his shop. Some of LeRoys hobbies included bowling in a league, golfing, going to Mariner games with his wife. He was also an avid Blazer fan who would record every game and watch them even if they were losing. LeRoy enjoyed walking and riding his bike, he would walk every day even if it was raining outside. Most importantly he loved his family dearly. LeRoy is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Schultz and Sister Laverne Keller. He is survived by Daughters Alice Gephart, Sally Ward; Brother, Rollo Schultz; Sister, Arliss Rey, four grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. There will be a visitation held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home on April 2, 2014 between the hours of 10 -4. There will be a funeral service held at Living Word Fellowship in Boring, Oregon on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 12:30 PM
