She met Ming-Chee in her late twenties. The two were married for 58 years and had three children together. Their family moved to Portland, OR in 1975, and Len was soon employed at Pendleton Woolen Mills as a seamstress, where she worked for 24 years. She later worked at Fred Meyer making sushi.
Len enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and traveling, often with her husband. After retirement, she and Ming Chee traveled to many places together; enjoying each other’s company as well as the company of their family.
She is survived by her husband, Ming-Chee; daughter, Kristine Chen-Hwa along with her husband Paul Foster, and grandchildren David and Andrew; son, Tee-Lone Wan; daughter, Lauren Yueh-Ling along with her husband Raymond Yee and grandchildren Trevor, Brandon, and Makayla; sister, Fee Yein and husband Hone Lee Wong; brother, John and wife Mai Chin; brother, Bill and wife Susan Chin; and many nieces and nephews.
