Larry Davis, 62, passed away on July 18 after a 5 month battle with cancer. He was at home surrounded by family. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Larry was born in Apple River, IL. After 4 years in the Air Force he began a 40 year career in the insurance industry, retiring last July. He is survived by his mother, Marian Davis of Warren, IL, his wife Margaret Davis, of Portland OR, his daughters Meggie (Nate) Pelzer and Kimmie Durkee, and 13 brothers and sisters.
A graveside service with Full Military Honors will be held on Friday, July 22 2011 at 1:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland OR followed by a funeral service at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Red Cross donating blood.
