Lan Thi Nguyen

On October 6th, 2013, Ms Nguyen passed peacefully in Providence Portland Medical center Ms Nguyen was the first child born to Tieu Nguyen and Rieu Quang Nguyen in Ha Dong, North Vietnam where she grew up. In 1951, she was married to Trong nhu Nguyen in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her family moved to Saigon, South Vietnam in 1954 then US in 1991. Ms Nguyen was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to knit, sew, cook and dote on her grandchildren. She was the host of hundreds of family and holiday gatherings, where everyone loved her homemade Vienamese dishes. She was an active member of the Ngoc Son temple. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched and remembered fondly for all the wonderful memories we have of her.

Ms Nguyen is survived by her children and grandchildren: My (Mai Trinh) Nguyen Thuy (Quang Canh) Nguyen Anh Nguyen Hung (Hoai An) Nguyen 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren

Ms Nguyen was preceded in death by her husband, Trong Nguyen in 1988. Rest in peace, our beloved mother and grandma
