With four children, she moved with her husband to the United States
in 1976, settling in Portland, Oregon. Kyung was attentive to her
family, seeing to it that her children had all they required to adjust to
their new home. Kyung and her husband would host get-togethers
with many families attending. Kyung always welcomed everyone with
a warm smile and offer of something delicious to eat.
Kyung worked at a local high-tech company for a while, and later transitioned to helping her husband run a small business, before they both retired and spent many happy years together traveling all over the world.
God called Kyung away peacefully on February 15, 2021 at Maryville
Nursing Home where she had been staying. She follows her late husband,
whom she was married to for 68 years.
Kyung is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered fondly by all and missed very much.
